Venice Airport Transfers
Venice is car-free, so the airport transfer is really two parts — the road and the water. We plan both, with a fixed price and a named drop-off point.

- Day-visitor fee
- In 2026 Venice charged day-trippers an access fee on 60 trial dates between 3 April and 26 July (€5 if booked at least four days ahead, €10 later). Check the official site for current dates and exemptions.

- Tell us your hotel or address; we confirm whether the last leg is by road, boat or on foot.
- Your driver or boat captain meets you at arrivals; the exact point is on your voucher.
- For hotels off the main canals we plan the walking distance and luggage handling with you.
- We track your flight and adjust the pick-up automatically.

Water taxi, public boat or road and vaporetto?
There are three ways into Venice. A private water taxi takes you across the lagoon to a dock near your hotel, which is the most direct and the most expensive. The public airport boats are cheaper, with fixed stops and slower journeys. The road option ends at Piazzale Roma, from where you take a vaporetto or walk. We recommend based on your hotel's location and how much luggage you have.
Frequently asked questions
Can a car take me to my hotel in Venice?
No. Vehicles stop at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto. From there you continue by water taxi, vaporetto or on foot. We can pre-book a water-taxi leg with a partner.
How far is Treviso airport from Venice?
Treviso is about 30–35 minutes from Mestre and is used mainly by low-cost airlines. We serve it as well as Marco Polo.
Does the Venice access fee apply to me?
The fee has applied to day-trippers on set dates. If you are staying overnight, check the official Venice access-fee site for your dates and any exemptions.
Can you take us onward to the Dolomites or Verona?
Yes — Verona is about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes away, and the Dolomites are a longer scenic drive that we can plan as a day or a transfer.
