How we plan a wedding

- Venue and date: a shortlist that fits your guest count and ceremony, with availability checked before you commit

- Ceremony and paperwork: the steps and deadlines for your nationality and the town hall (comune) involved, coordinated with the venue and the officiant or church
- Guests: hotel blocks and a transport plan built from the guest list and the timeline
- The weekend: a run of show for each day and a coordinator on site
Civil, religious or symbolic ceremony
A legally binding ceremony in Italy is either civil, held at the town hall or a venue the comune has approved, or religious, which involves extra paperwork through your parish. A symbolic ceremony has no legal effect and can be held wherever the venue allows, and some couples complete the legal steps at home. The requirements depend on your nationality and on the comune, so we confirm them at the start.

Guest hotels and transport
Getting guests from several airports to a villa outside the nearest town is the part everyone remembers. We plan it with the rest of the wedding: hotel blocks with cut-off dates and rooming lists, and shuttles timed to the ceremony and the last dance. Both are also available on their own, on separate pages.

Do you plan the whole wedding?
Yes. We plan and coordinate the whole weekend: venue, ceremony, catering, décor, photography, music, guest hotels and transport, through independent local suppliers that we source, brief and manage.
Can we have a legal ceremony in Italy?
In most cases, yes. The requirements depend on your nationality and on the town hall (comune) where the ceremony takes place. Religious ceremonies need extra paperwork through your parish, and symbolic ceremonies are not legally binding. We confirm what applies to you at the start and map the deadlines.
Do you own the venues or the equipment?
No. We don't own venues, kitchens, studios or equipment. Every venue, caterer, florist, photographer and musician is an independent professional we source and manage, and the proposal shows who is delivering what.
How far ahead should we start planning?
Twelve months ahead is comfortable for a peak-season date, and the best venues for May, June and September book first. A shorter timeline can work for a smaller wedding, and we tell you what is realistic after the first call.
Can we book only the guest transport and hotels?
Yes. If you already have a planner, or you are organising the wedding yourselves, we can take guest transport and accommodation on their own.
