What we plan for on the Coast

- Weather and sea: a covered option agreed in advance, and a fallback if a boat leg cannot run
- Access rules: restrictions and fees that vary by town and time of day, itemised in the plan
- Suppliers: proposals compared on price, terms and style, with travel and set-up costs shown as separate lines
Ceremony options
A legal civil ceremony takes place at the town hall, or at a venue the comune has approved for civil weddings. A religious ceremony in a local church needs paperwork through your parish. A symbolic ceremony can be held on a terrace or in a garden, wherever the venue allows. We confirm which options apply to your venue and your nationality before you commit.
Guests: hotels and shuttles
Coast hotels fill early in the peak season, and the road between the towns is slow. We build hotel blocks with clear cut-off dates and a shuttle plan with small vehicles and, where it helps, a boat leg. Both can also be booked on their own. How many guests suit an Amalfi Coast wedding?
Small and mid-sized weddings are the most practical, because venue space and road access limit large groups. We check the venue's real capacity and the access before you commit to a guest count.
Can guests with limited mobility attend?
Usually, with planning. We check the steps and the last stretch to the venue, then arrange the closest drop-off point and an alternative route where one exists.
When should we marry on the Coast?
May to October is the peak season, and June to September is the hardest for road capacity. Late spring and early autumn are often calmer. We advise on dates after the first call.
Can we have a legal ceremony on the Coast?
In most cases, yes. The requirements depend on your nationality and on the town hall (comune) where the ceremony takes place. We confirm what applies to you at the start and map the deadlines.
