Standing rate vs. one-off block
If your team travels to the same city regularly, a standing corporate rate agreement is usually the better fit: a fixed nightly rate, a cancellation window and priority availability at one or two preferred hotels. If it is a single visit by several people on the same dates — a roadshow, an audit team, a training week — a room block for those specific dates is simpler and often cheaper.
